v0.3 of FsHttp.Studio 🎉
Clients changed: both, the VSCode extension and the Neovim client
This release adds a second client: Neovim. The Neovim client uses the same companion as the VSCode extension, so a block runs the same way in each editor. The release also adds three features to both clients: copy as curl, run at the cursor, and a companion restart.
Neovim client
- A block mark above each block shows
▶ Run request, or⊘ Cannot run: …with the reason. :FsHttp runruns the block at the cursor, and shows the response in a buffer beside the script.- The response buffer shows an image through snacks.nvim, pretty-prints JSON, and indents HTML. It folds the Request, Response headers, and Body sections.
- lazy.nvim downloads the companion from the GitHub release at install.
:checkhealth fshttpchecks your setup, and:help fshttpgives each command, key, and option.
New in both clients
- Copy the request as a curl command. In VSCode, click Copy as curl in the Request section. In Neovim, press
yc, or run:FsHttp yank curl. - Run the request at the cursor. In VSCode, use the palette command FsHttp.Studio: Run request at cursor. In Neovim, use
:FsHttp run. When the cursor is outside every block, a picker lists each block of the script. - Restart the companion. In VSCode, run FsHttp.Studio: Restart companion, or click Restart companion in the stopped toast. In Neovim, run
:FsHttp restart, or click the status line text in lualine. - A compile error in a loaded file names that file. In Neovim, press
<CR>on an error position to go to it. - When the editor closes, each process that the companion started stops.
