MemoKnow v0.2.0
MemoKnow's first published release adds local personal memory and an imported knowledge library to DeepSeek Harness.
Highlights
- Memory review: filter, edit, approve, or dismiss memories and inspect their source sessions and turns. Automatically proposed revisions preserve the approved original until accepted. Normal recall includes only active, non-expired memories.
- Learning controls: pause learning, exclude sessions, adjust session and daily token budgets, and inspect pending work and usage. Turns skipped during pauses or exclusions are not backfilled later.
- Knowledge tools: search imported knowledge, preview extracted text in pages, inspect indexing status, and retry semantic indexing. Keyword search remains available if semantic indexing fails.
- Harness compatibility: supports DeepSeek Harness 0.2.0-rc.1 alongside the declared 0.1.x tool API ranges.
- Local storage and document import: SQLite-backed memory and knowledge; TXT, Markdown, DOC, DOCX, text-layer PDF, CSV, and XLSX import; optional local CPU or OpenAI-compatible embeddings.

dsh webIf you run Harness from source, use pnpm dsh in the Harness checkout in place of dsh. Restart a running web profile after installation, then open Settings → MemoKnow.

Validation
- 67 tests passed, with TypeScript checks, production build, and release artifact checks.
- Feature changes independently audited by a subagent.
- Installed and smoke-tested in a locally rebuilt Harness 0.2.0-rc.1 web profile; management, dashboard, and learning endpoints responded successfully.
Upgrade notes
Back up your MemoKnow data directory before upgrading an existing development installation. Data stays on the machine running Harness. Keep the web server on loopback unless protected by your own authenticated HTTPS reverse proxy; MemoKnow does not provide multi-user authentication.
