Release Notes v3.0.0

We are pleased to announce the release of twWifiScan version v3.0.0. This major update restores macOS support, aligns the MQTT implementation with twBlueScan, and introduces dynamic build-time versioning.

Key Changes

1. Restored macOS (darwin) Support

  • Restored the Wi-Fi access point scanning functionality on macOS.
  • Implemented scanning logic using the github.com/jaisonerick/macwifi (CoreWLAN) package. macOS binaries are now built and included in the release artifacts.

2. MQTT Implementation Alignment (with twBlueScan)

  • Added the -host flag to allow specifying a custom host name identifier.
  • Updated MQTT publishing routes to dynamically resolve topics based on the prefix, host, and BSSID:
    • AP Details: <mqttTopic>/APInfo/<bssid>
    • Scan Statistics: <mqttTopic>/WifiScanStats/<hostName>
    • Host Resource Metrics: <mqttTopic>/Monitor/<hostName>

3. Dynamic Build-Time Versioning

  • Updated the Makefile and GoReleaser configurations to dynamically extract and inject version strings directly from git tags, eliminating hardcoded version variables.

4. Dependency & Environment Upgrades

  • Upgraded compiler environment support to Go 1.26.1 and tidied go module dependencies.

twWifiScan バージョン v3.0.0 のリリースです。本リリースでは、macOS対応の復活、MQTTの仕様変更、およびビルドシステムの改善を行いました。

主な変更点

1. macOS (darwin) 対応の復元

  • 一時的に非対応となっていた macOS 環境での Wi-Fi アクセスポイントのスキャン機能を復元しました。
  • github.com/jaisonerick/macwifi (CoreWLAN) を利用したスキャンロジックを実装し、macOS 向けバイナリも自動ビルド・リリースに含まれるようになりました。

2. MQTT 実装の調整（twBlueScan との共通化）

  • ホスト名（識別用）を明示的に指定できる -host オプションを追加しました。
  • トピック構成を調整し、指定されたトピックプレフィックスとホスト名/BSSIDに基づいて動的にメッセージを送信できるようになりました。
    • AP情報: <mqttTopic>/APInfo/<bssid>
    • 統計情報: <mqttTopic>/WifiScanStats/<hostName>
    • センサーリソース情報: <mqttTopic>/Monitor/<hostName>

3. バージョンの動的埋め込み対応

  • ビルド時にGitのタグからバージョン情報を動的に抽出してバイナリに埋め込めるように Makefile および GoReleaser 設定を改善しました。

4. 依存関係の更新

  • Go 1.26.1 への対応および依存ライブラリのアップデートを行いました。
