Health Fusion

Description

This project uses the MERN stack to use in a single application. This is a blog application called "Health fusion," where users can create an account, post their future of health technology ideas for others to see, and interact with other users through these ideas.

User Story

AS A brainstormer,
I WANT to share my ideas where I can gain feedback
SO THAT I can brainstorm new health technologies with others!

Acceptance Criteria

GIVEN a sign up page
WHEN I sign up
THEN I specify the username, email address, and password
WHEN I login
THEN I can select a category
WHEN I view the main category page
THEN I have the ability to start a new discussion
WHEN I click on a discussion post
THEN I can post a comment
and view pre-existing comments
WHEN I navigate to my portfolio
THEN I am able to see all my previous posts.

Installation

To install this application, clone the code into your terminal for the respective repository. Then, install npm by entering the command npm install into the terminal. This will install all dependencies in the package.json, in the root directory, required to run this application.

Usage

1. Visit the site at https://health-fusion1284.herokuapp.com
2. Sign up for an account
3. Once logged in, you can choose a category of which you would like to discuss
4. You can then create a new discussion and submit it hitting the "submit" button. Discussions can also be deleted by hitting the delete button
5. You can click to see or make comments on other users posts
6. To logout, hit the "logout" button on the top right corner
