DuckTerm 0.4.191
What's new
- Pair your iPhone from the app. Choose Pair iPhone… from the DuckTerm menu. The Mac shows a QR code; scan it with Ducky on the phone, check that the device ID matches on both screens, then click Approve and confirm with Touch ID or your Mac password. Scanning alone grants nothing, and the invitation stops working when the window closes. From a terminal,
duckterm ducky pairdoes the same with a typed confirmation. - Ducky keeps working when your Mac's address changes. New invitations use the Mac's local network name instead of a fixed IP, and the phone listener follows the Mac to a new private address without restarting your sessions. It still listens only on private network addresses, and only after you turn Ducky on.
- Phones paired with 0.4.189 or 0.4.190 keep working; their certificate and access are unchanged. A phone paired by IP address keeps using that address, so if the address goes away, pair it again.
- New invitations need Ducky TestFlight build 2 or later on the phone.

Each also has a versioned copy (DuckTerm-<Edition>-0.4.191-macos-arm64.zip). All are notarized and need macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon. No schema changes. If you also use the pipx install: opening an app with no DuckTerm server running moves DuckTerm's hooks to that app, and duckterm install-hooks from the pipx install moves them back.
