Location

Location is a physical place where (1) clinical event of some sort has occurred, or (2) a place of residence.

• If a clinic, hospital, or similar clinical location, the Type should be annotated as one of the following:
  • clinic
  • hospital
  • unit
  • room
  • emergency-dept
• If a geographic location of residence, the Type should be annotated as a residence.
