oneDAL is happy to introduce 2026.2.0 release!

🔨 Library Engineering

• Added native build support for Windows on ARM64
• Extended the Bazel build with AArch64 and RISC-V64 cross-compilation

🚨 What's New

• Introduced new oneDAL functionality:
  • Added HDBSCAN clustering algorithm to the oneAPI interface for CPU and GPU
  • Added SPMD API support for Ridge Regression on CPU
  • Added noise_variance computation to PCA results
  • Improved accuracy of dense Covariance computations
  • Added an opt-in AMX-BF16 path for float32 brute-force KNN and DBSCAN, enabled via ONEDAL_FLOAT32_MATMUL_PRECISION=ALLOW_BF16
  • Added the ability to run SPMD computations on a subset of MPI ranks via an external MPI_Comm
  • Aligned decision forest weighted row sampling with recent scikit-learn versions, including sampling ratios greater than 1.0

🪲 Bug Fixes

• Fixed K-Means empty-cluster relocation to match scikit-learn, and incorrect objective values on sparse CSR data on CPU
• Fixed several decision forest training issues affecting split selection, max_leaf_nodes, float32 data, and sample weights
• Fixed potential crashes in CSRNumericTable when built with GCC 13
