What's changed

  • Use less battery while connected
    • Traffic usage is saved every 30 seconds instead of every second
    • In Low Power Mode, automatic server selection only switches away from a failing or slow server
  • Show the right app for connections in the Connections window
    • A new process that reused an old process id no longer shows the old app's name
  • Warn when changes to servers or subscriptions could not be saved
  • Use less battery while the kill switch is on
  • Send the core's DNS lookups through the proxy in Rules Only mode
    • Sites no longer stall in Rules Only mode with an IP rule on networks that block 1.1.1.1

Install

With Homebrew: brew install --cask lordversa/tap/v2mac (or brew upgrade --cask v2mac).

Or download V2Mac-0.7.13.dmg, check it against the .sha256 file, and follow the first-launch steps in the README (the app is ad-hoc signed).
