Added
The macOS menu bar app can show a monochrome mark. Settings, Menu bar icon, Mono renders the Vaara mark as a template glyph that the menu bar paints black or white to match its own appearance, as every other status item is drawn. The gate then shows as a dot beside the mark: none for allow, a hollow one for escalate, a filled one for deny, and the activity graph draws in the same tint. Colour stays the default.
Fixed
vaara trail export answers a missing or malformed --key, and vaara trail verify a missing --pubkey, with one line and exit code 2. A path that did not exist raised out of the command as a traceback, while a missing database or zip already got a plain message.
vaara llm-proxy records the request that leaves. With a seal file, --audit full in govern mode stored the request as it came in, so the trail's copy carried every secret the seal had replaced before the request reached the provider, and --audit hash recorded the hash of bytes no provider received. Both now come from the sealed, compacted request that goes out. Without sealing or compaction nothing changes.
Removed
SQLiteAuditBackend.redact_agent_pii and list_redactions, a read-time substitution of agent ids that nothing in the tree called or documented. A record presented with an agent id other than the stored one cannot be recomputed, so a single redaction row made every verifier report a hash mismatch on a file nobody had touched. The gdpr_redactions table stays in the schema so existing files open unchanged, and a row in it no longer changes what is read.
