v26.10.2

Improvements and fixes

  • Fix empty SSH recordings when the recording directory and local storage point to the same file.
  • Fix SSH file management on first use and after the SFTP cache expires.
  • Fix command history after interactive programs such as top, preventing exit keys from being appended to the next shell command.
  • Add database indexes for session lists, command counts, and command history.
  • Restrict session command history and recordings to the session owner or administrators.
  • Fix asset and folder authorization updates, including V2 rule creation and ACL grant failures.
  • Refresh the authorization list when returning to the page and discard outdated responses.
  • Fix ACL resource deletion by using the resource's application ID in the request body.
  • Restore administrator access to management and audit menus, and remove unused menu resources from fresh ACL initialization.
  • Disable inline permission management menus by default.
  • Align settings layouts and credential toolbars.

Deployment

The API and UI images use the v26.10.2 tag for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64. Runtime dependencies use the existing v26.10.1 images. Docker Compose v2 is required.

First-time installation

git clone --branch v26.10.2 --depth 1 https://github.com/veops/oneterm.git
cd oneterm/deploy
bash setup.sh
docker compose pull
docker compose up -d --wait --wait-timeout 240

Open http://<server-ip>:8666, sign in with admin / 123456, and change the administrator password. Run setup.sh only for new installations.

Upgrade from v26.10.1

Back up your databases and deployment configuration before upgrading. Restarting the API disconnects active sessions.

From your existing repository:

git fetch origin tag v26.10.2
git checkout v26.10.2
cd deploy
docker compose pull oneterm-api oneterm-ui
docker compose up -d --no-deps --wait --wait-timeout 240 oneterm-api oneterm-ui

Preserve your credentials, .env, config.yaml, encryption keys, ports, data mounts, and Compose project name. For customized deployments, update the API and UI image tags in your existing Compose file. The new database indexes are created automatically at API startup.

SSH recordings already truncated to zero bytes must be restored from a backup; this update prevents new recordings from being truncated.

For domain deployments, add -f docker-compose.domain.yaml to the Compose commands.
