📖 Overview

Bulk stock ingestion arrives. Discovery::stock_listings_page and Market::stock_bars_page download a dated stock directory and daily or intraday bars one page at a time, and resume from a PageCursor that is pinned to the operation, request and provider that issued it, so a continuation can never silently change providers or queries. Polygon serves both; FMP adds company profiles with CIK, IPO date, CUSIP, ISIN and ETF/ADR/fund flags, the actively-trading and full stock directories, resumable delisted-company pages and bulk profile downloads. ProvidersBuilder gains providers, endpoint and requests_per_minute, so a keyed adapter can be pointed at another host or given its own rate budget. Three configuration fixes stop a misconfigured keyed provider from looking like a transport failure.

⬆️ Upgrade notes

There are no signature breaks: new model fields are appended, and the new trait operations default to NotSupported. Three behavior changes to check:

  • FMP intraday candle timestamps now read FMP's local times as New York time, so they shift 4–5 hours later than before.
  • Polygon refusals that name the plan or entitlement now return the new FinanceError::NotEntitled instead of AuthenticationFailed. The variant is new on a #[non_exhaustive] enum, so existing matches keep compiling, but code that treated those refusals as a bad key should match it too. AuthenticationFailed now means the key itself was refused.
  • A keyed provider whose environment variable is set but blank now counts as unset, so it is not routed. Before, it was routed with no client, which made the server panic at startup.

🔒 Security

  • Bumped rustls 0.23.43 → 0.23.45 (RUSTSEC-2026-0285: TLS 1.3 handshake messages incorrectly accepted across encryption level boundaries, medium severity). rustls reaches the library through reqwest and tokio-tungstenite, so every HTTP and streaming connection uses it.
  • Three advisories were cleared in the legacy v1 Python service, which is not part of the published crate: urllib3 2.8.0 fixes HTTPS proxy TLS settings being ignored (GHSA-8988-9cw3-xx77, high), unbounded chunk-size buffering (GHSA-vxq7-64xx-v4gw, high) and a chunked Deflate infinite loop (GHSA-gh4c-6fx4-qh6g, medium).
