Migrating: Python 3.10 users stay on daffy 3.1.x automatically. If your pyproject.toml has a [tool.daffy] section but is not valid TOML, validation now raises ValueError instead of silently using default settings.

• tomli minimum raised to 2.4.0 so pyproject.toml files using TOML 1.1 syntax no longer silently discard [tool.daffy] settings
• An unparseable pyproject.toml no longer silently falls back to default settings. If it contains tool.daffy, validation raises ValueError naming the file; otherwise daffy emits a UserWarning and uses defaults

Fixed

• String checks ignore null values consistently, including pandas object columns with newer Narwhals versions.
