BracePaste 1.3.3

@vishalnarkhede vishalnarkhede released this 13 Aug 15:34

The popup now dismisses itself after Copy / Copy Minified — copying is a terminal action, no need to close manually.

BracePaste 1.3.2

@vishalnarkhede vishalnarkhede released this 13 Aug 15:29

"Open Accessibility Settings" now opens the correct pane on recent macOS — the legacy System Settings URL anchor was silently ignored, leaving Settings on whatever pane it last showed.

BracePaste 1.3.1

@vishalnarkhede vishalnarkhede released this 13 Aug 15:22

Fixes the "Open Accessibility Settings" button landing on the Input Monitoring pane — it now opens Privacy & Security → Accessibility directly.

BracePaste 1.3.0

Parser-based detection

Detection is no longer heuristic — BracePaste now bundles three battle-tested open-source libraries (running locally in JavaScriptCore, still zero network):

  • node-sql-parser decides what is SQL with a real grammar: English sentences and source code containing SQL keywords are never touched.
  • sql-formatter does the SQL layout (embedded JSON literals still prettified in place).
  • highlight.js classifies source code, so copying Go/Swift code with []string or items[0] no longer triggers a useless [] popup.

BracePaste 1.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@vishalnarkhede vishalnarkhede released this 13 Aug 14:29

Fixes SQL detection false positives on English sentences (e.g. titles starting with "Show") — prose is no longer reformatted as SQL. Real queries are unaffected.

BracePaste 1.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@vishalnarkhede vishalnarkhede released this 13 Aug 12:20

What's new

  • SQL formatting: copying a SQL query now formats the whole statement — keywords uppercased, clauses on their own lines — instead of stripping it down to any embedded JSON.
  • JSON literals inside SQL strings ('{"a":1}') are pretty-printed in place, with '' escaping preserved.
  • The Minified button copies single-line SQL when the editor holds SQL.
  • Extraction from log noise / chat text still works exactly as before; detection is conservative so plain English sentences are never touched.

BracePaste 1.1.1

@vishalnarkhede vishalnarkhede released this 24 Jul 13:00

Fix

  • Repair soft-wrapped JSON from chat copy: unescaped newlines inside string literals (e.g. "MacBook + linebreak + Pro") are normalized so the payload still formats

Install

Download BracePaste-1.1.1.dmg. If Gatekeeper warns, right-click the app → Open.
