Saarthi 1.0 – an AI meeting assistant for blind and low-vision users

Saarthi listens to the meeting and watches the shared screen. Press a hotkey or type a question, and it answers out loud in a short, clear sentence.

What it does

• Answers questions about what is on screen and what was said in the last 30 seconds, using NVIDIA Nemotron 3.5 Super VL on Nebius Token Factory.
• Writes a live meeting transcript with Sarvam AI saaras:v4 speech-to-text (English and Indian languages).
• After the meeting, answers questions about the whole recording.
• Speaks answers in an offline human voice (Piper: English, Hindi and Tamil), in the meeting's language.
• Leaves NVDA, JAWS and Narrator out of the recording, so the screen reader's voice is never transcribed.
• Works with any meeting app (Zoom, Teams, Google Meet) and fully from the keyboard.

How to start

1. Download Saarthi.exe and press Enter on it.
2. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", choose More info, then Run anyway.
3. Paste your Nebius and Sarvam API keys in the settings window, then choose Test connection and Save.
4. Press Ctrl+Alt+M to start the meeting transcript, then Ctrl+Alt+Space to ask.

The voices are built into the exe, so there is nothing else to install. Full instructions are in the README.
