shinyu | I don’t think it’s a good idea to include CSS specific for Vivliostyle in EPUB. The extended CSS syntax such as @-epubx-page-master {...} is not recognized as a valid CSS syntax in EPUB 3 and causes errors in EPUBCheck validator. |

shinyu | Using media query may make sense if you use same HTML files for both Web-pages version and Web-book version of a book with different stylesheets for normal Web-pages and for Web-book with Vivliostyle. Vivliostyle treats pages as “print” media type and not “screen” media type even in Vivliostyle Viewer displaying pages in screen. So “@media print” can be used for stylesheets for Vivliostyle. Additionally, the Vivliostyle specific media type “vivliostyle” can be also used. This may be useful when you specify stylesheets specific only for Vivliostyle and not for normal printing in browser. |
