@lovervr63-a11y lovervr63-a11y released this 03 Nov 03:06

Lupin the Third v1.0.9

  • Purple Gun, World, System and In-game cards with direct gun model choices, Advanced controls, and one controller pointer with a contact dot.
  • Normal laser uses the former 2x beam width. Choose Off, Normal, 5x or 10x. Existing 2x settings display as Normal. Right stick click toggles Laser and Crosshair together.
  • Captured defaults are World size 0.11 and Custom Crosshair with 30% minimum, 40% maximum and 6 m shrink distance. Existing saved choices are kept.
  • First Start chooses the solo gun hand. The other trigger switches hands, and Start on the free hand requests P2. The original game acknowledges the join before applying the chosen dual layout.
  • First VR launch requires pistol setup from your own disc. A valid cache is reused. Wider view offers Off, On and Fade.

The In-game tab contains the original Service shortcut. Direct native settings and cinematic zoom are not part of this release. The original GDS-0018 disc and supported NAOMI BIOS are required.

@lovervr63-a11y lovervr63-a11y released this 30 Oct 06:01

Quest library/application name: Lupin the Third - VR4ALL.

This is an Android branding and package-version update to the previous public release v1.0.6. Game code, native libraries, resources and assets are byte-identical to that release. Package ID and signing certificate are retained for an in-place update with existing app data. PC VR is included unchanged from the previous release.

Verified with Android SDK label/package/signature/alignment checks and a complete APK payload comparison. Physical gameplay was not retested for this metadata-only update. Development gameplay/settings changes in other chats are outside this release.

No game ROMs, BIOS, disk images or personal data are included. Provide your own legally obtained game files.

@lovervr63-a11y lovervr63-a11y released this 29 Oct 03:45

lupin-the-third-vr v1.0.6

Quest and Windows PCVR update. Android versionCode 7; package and release signing identity are retained.

  • The validated setup screen automatically enters VR when the required game files are ready. Missing files, permission issues, Quit and error returns keep setup available; manual Play remains available.
  • Arcade gun body and entire grip use logical P1 red and P2 blue across hand assignments. Grey screws and original lens details are preserved. Native weapons/staff, Zapper and controllers retain their appearance.
  • Gun angle 0 now has the former physical -10 degree pose. Display remains -30..30 in one-degree steps. Legacy saved angles reset to 0 once; later choices persist. Other preferences, saves and calibration remain intact.

The launcher automatic entry was physically confirmed in the preceding test. Production settings/material/pose checks and isolated Quest GPU pixels passed for all seven games. Fresh release builds are verified separately in the overseer batch report. Physical acceptance of the new color/angle correction and PCVR headset/full-route coverage remain pending; software compilation is not a headset-play result.

Bring your own supported game data. Release packages contain no game data.

Lupin the Third VR 1.0.5 — Menu Service Controls

Choose a tag to compare

@Godofkill97633 Godofkill97633 released this 27 Oct 01:50

Lupin the Third VR 1.0.5 moves Service access into the purple VR menu.

Controls

  • Open the in-game VR menu and choose Open Service Menu, immediately above Quit. The A-hold shortcut is removed. Ordinary A starts P1 immediately after loading; controller buttons do not directly open Service during gameplay.
  • Standard NAOMI menus use X = Next and A = Select, with a purple guide below the native menu. Choose native EXIT to restart and restore normal controls automatically. No B step is needed; returning from a submenu preserves navigation.
  • Ninja Assault and Survivor use their native Namco controls: X = Down, A = Enter, with the stick available for Up/Down. While active, the VR menu row becomes Exit Service Menu; choose it to return to gameplay and clear the guide automatically.
  • Held inputs are consumed after entry, focus recovery and loading. Service navigation does not request P2 or expose a second gun. Fresh P2 joining still requires native game acceptance and follows the saved hand assignment. Survivor remains single-player.
  • Service is an offline VR-gun action available after initial loading, including while the VR menu pauses emulation. The passthrough launch fix, purple options/gun UI and VR4ALL launch splash remain included.

Validation

  • Production input/assignment checks, Android unit tests, startup contracts, native observer tests, Ninja hand checks, MOK reload checks and package fixtures passed across the applicable ports.
  • The final menu-only entry and automatic return were exercised with actual native menus in PC XR simulator runs for Confidential Mission, HOTD2, Ninja Assault and Survivor. Native submenu navigation preserves Service controls. Main/test startup metadata was additionally measured in owned Lupin original, MOK and Death Crimson Japan Rev A variants.
  • Earlier passthrough startup, P2 joining and native Service navigation were confirmed by the user on Quest 3S in Confidential Mission. The final menu-only entry and automatic-return revision was verified in the PC simulator; other hardware/gameplay paths have not been exhaustively tested.
  • Signed Quest and Windows PCVR packages are built from 36efe37348d9e85521233c123cda43572fe09a75. Quest package com.vrlightgunhub.lupin, version 1.0.5, versionCode 6. Package identity, embedded source commit, content, licensing, hashes and unchanged APK signer are checked.

Install

Update the Quest APK over the existing app or use VR4ALL. Extract the PCVR ZIP while retaining your own game files, saves and settings. No game, BIOS or generated native weapon data is included. See the README and previous release for title-specific support and limitations.

The Quest APK, PCVR ZIP and SHA256SUMS.txt are attached. Source and both binaries correspond to the same tagged commit.

Lupin the Third VR 1.0.4 — Quest Startup and Controller Update

Choose a tag to compare

@Godofkill97633 Godofkill97633 released this 27 Oct 00:07

Lupin the Third VR 1.0.4 updates Quest startup, player joining and deliberate Service access.

Changes

  • Play completes the 2D-to-immersive handoff from Quest Home passthrough or a virtual home. The real VR activity has its own immersive classification and task; the setup panel is removed after launch.
  • P1 must already be active before X can request P2. P2's gun and saved hand assignment activate only after the native game accepts that player. Loading-time presses, rejected requests, restarts and P2 exits cannot leave a speculative second gun. Survivor retains its single-player controls.
  • On Quest Touch-family and Index controllers, a short A press sends Start on release. Hold physical A for 3 seconds to open the arcade Service menu, with a purple progress notice. A successful Service hold does not also send Start. Release is required for another activation.
  • Start buttons held during loading require release before use. Settings, focus loss and input-sync failure cancel holds. Duplicate Quest Android A/X events cannot reach legacy mappings; normal OpenXR player ownership remains intact.
  • The Service hold is offline only; online play retains synchronized Start. Other keyboard/gamepad cabinet controls remain available. The purple VR4ALL menus and launch splash remain included.

Validation

  • Passthrough startup and corrected P2 joining were confirmed by the user on a connected Quest 3S in Confidential Mission.
  • 805 production hand/join/gesture checks across all seven ports passed, including boot holds, native acknowledgment, both layouts, reset/tracking/timeout edges, short A, three-second Service timing and online exclusions.
  • All 455 Android unit tests, existing Ninja hand-safety checks (243), MOK reload checks (19), and standalone package checks (251) passed.
  • Fresh Windows PCVR and signed Quest packages were built from a8879e9d5d1b10dce418b10e41c423a25812db2f with source-commit, package identity, content, licensing and unchanged-signing checks.
  • The purple hold notice, short-versus-long A timing and actual native SYSTEM MENU entry were visually verified in the PC XR simulator. The final on-headset A-hold check remains pending.
  • Quest package com.vrlightgunhub.lupin, version 1.0.4, versionCode 5. Full gameplay coverage for every title and every headset remains pending.

Install

Install the Quest APK over the existing app, or update through VR4ALL. Extract the PCVR ZIP while retaining your own game files, saves and settings. No game, BIOS or generated native weapon data is included. Existing game support and limitations remain in the README and previous release.

The Quest APK, PCVR ZIP and SHA256SUMS.txt are attached. Source and both binaries correspond to the same tagged commit.

Lupin the Third VR 1.0.3 — Purple VR4ALL UI

Choose a tag to compare

@Godofkill97633 Godofkill97633 released this 26 Oct 00:05

Lupin the Third VR 1.0.3 updates the shared VR4ALL interface on Meta Quest and PC VR.

Changes

  • Purple options menus, gun/staff preparation and completion screens, matching the VR4ALL launch-screen palette.
  • Purple menu pointer rays and hit dots.
  • A VR4ALL headset-and-wordmark image appears inside VR for three visible seconds after Play launches the game. Background time does not consume it, and returning from the options menu does not replay it.
  • Game-specific controls, native weapons, saved settings and update signing identity are retained.

Install

Update the Quest APK through VR4ALL or install it over the existing app. For PC VR, extract the ZIP while retaining your own game files, saves and settings. No game, BIOS, cartridge, disc image or generated native weapon data is included.

Validation and scope

  • Fresh Windows PCVR and Android Quest builds from e2d3e0fc30663eeb65bae238146c303320d1e575; strict package, source-commit, licence and model-credit checks passed.
  • Native splash timing regression and simulator captures of the splash, preparation/completion and options screens.
  • APK package com.vrlightgunhub.lupin, version 1.0.3, versionCode 4. Its signing certificate matches the prior public APK.
  • This UI update has not been physically tested in a headset. Existing gameplay limitations and supported game revisions remain documented in the README and previous release.

Lupin the Third VR 1.0.2 — Shared menu

Choose a tag to compare

@Godofkill97633 Godofkill97633 released this 25 Oct 12:07

Lupin now uses the shared menu wording used by the other VR light-gun ports.

  • The sixth row is Two players.
  • Its value explicitly shows P1 left / P2 right or P1 right / P2 left.
  • The 13-row order remains: Resume, Recenter, Gun, Gun angle, Reload, Two players, Laser, Haptics, World size, Panel distance, Wider view, How to play, Quit.
  • The default stays P1 left / P2 right while both players are active. Solo play still lets either trigger transfer the single gun.
  • Existing Start/join conventions, per-player input ownership, held-Start protection, saved hand preference and gun behavior are preserved.

Quest package com.vrlightgunhub.lupin, version 1.0.2, Android versionCode 3. This is an update using the existing release signing identity; settings and saves remain in the same app.

Download the Quest APK or PC VR ZIP below, or update through the main VR4ALL app. SHA256SUMS.txt covers both downloads.

Built from bcb7fb0. Verified with 132 native controls checks, 40 package regressions, all ten simulator UI scenarios and the original-game dual-player route, plus Quest/PC builds and strict package checks. This release has not been installed or tested on a physical headset by this workflow.

Requires your own original GDS-0018 lupinshoo game and compatible NAOMI BIOS. Rev A is unsupported. No game files, extracted game models or signing material are included. See the project page for controls and licence notices.

Lupin the Third VR 1.0.1 — Hand controls

Choose a tag to compare

@Godofkill97633 Godofkill97633 released this 25 Oct 10:57

The hand-layout setting now applies only to two-player play.

  • 2P: P1 left / P2 right is On by default. Turn it Off for P1 right / P2 left.
  • In solo play, pull either trigger to move the gun to that hand. A starts P1, X joins P2, and either B/Y reloads P1.
  • Once both players are active, Start/reload buttons and controller labels follow their assigned guns: default left X/Y for P1, right A/B for P2.
  • A held Start press keeps its player until release across joining, P2 leaving and layout changes. Press/release tracking continues while the menu is paused.
  • A gun moved to another controller waits for an already-held trigger to release, and swapping controllers pointed down avoids a second reload gesture.

Download the Quest APK or PC VR ZIP below. Quest package com.vrlightgunhub.lupin, version 1.0.1, Android versionCode 2, signed with the existing release identity. The new default also applies when upgrading from the earlier global hand setting.

For guided Quest installation and updates, use the main VR4ALL app.

Built from 9b8d7c8. Windows/Quest builds, package checks, 132 focused native control checks, the actual-game hand-layout route and the full simulator UI suite passed. This update has not been installed or tested on a physical headset by the build workflow.

Requires your own original GDS-0018 lupinshoo game and compatible NAOMI BIOS; Rev A remains unsupported. No game files or extracted game models are included. See the project page for controls and licence notices. SHA256SUMS.txt covers both downloads.

Bring your own game

No ROM, disc, PIC or BIOS is included. Requires the original GDS-0018 lupinshoo set and a compatible NAOMI BIOS. Rev A lupinsho / gds-0018a is unsupported. See the project page for exact paths, setup, controls and licence notices.

Validation and limits

Built and checked from source 0070617. Windows and Android builds, native regressions, simulator gameplay, menus, aiming and reload checks passed. Physical headset testing is pending, including tracking, comfort and sustained performance. Extreme head movement can expose black beyond the original camera geometry. Later stages, raw CUE/GDI boot and mixed P1-active/P2-continue timing need further testing.

Corresponding source is tagged v1.0.0. Main may contain newer documentation. This software build is distributed under GNU GPL version 3 with upstream and model notices preserved.
