Pi Agent Platform v1.36.0
Team memory learns from what went wrong (needs Agent Studio with the memory feedback loop, protocol 4).
Features
- What memory handed a round goes back with it. Briefs and
memory_searchanswers name what they handed over (serve_id). The round that used them sends the ids back with its retain (serves), and only to a Studio that speaks protocol 4. Studio then rates those notes by the member's next words, and stops briefing notes members said were wrong. - A command that fails the same way twice in a round is a lesson. This goes beside check recoveries (
managed/memory-lessons.mjs). The lesson keeps the first error line, sanitized (temporary paths, ids and numbers taken out of the fingerprint), with no guessed cause. - Repository memory keeps only completed tasks that add something. Changes only to build output, caches, logs or Piagent's own state are
not_durable. The same files at the same digests a second time arealready_known(completedTaskSkipReason). - Skills that keep failing are proposed for review. When at least 3 of a skill's last rounds ended with a failed check or a repeated tool error, Piagent writes
.pi/piagent-state/skill-proposals/<skill>.mdwith the evidence, at most once a week. Piagent never edits a skill itself.
Tests
tests/managed-team-memory.test.mjs: protocol 4 sends the brief's and the search's serves with the round that used them, and protocol 3 sends none.tests/managed-memory-lessons.test.mjs: repeated tool errors give one lesson; different errors, successes and timeouts give none.tests/repository-memory-distill.test.mjs,tests/managed-skill-feedback.test.mjs.
