Manta LCD4214 emulator 1.0.0 (MStar MSD309)
Manta LCD4214 (MStar MSD309) emulator, Windows x64
Boots the original, unmodified firmware and renders its own OSD.
Contents: manta.exe (emulator, headless or windowed), libunicorn.dll (patched Unicorn 2.1.4 with CP0 timer / IRQ extensions), MinGW runtime DLLs, LICENSE.
Run: put the firmware image (see firmware/README.md in the repository, which includes the SHA-256) next to it:
manta.exe --firmware manta-lcd4214-original.bin --headless
The full command line used for the connected boot is documented in docs/. The Qt control centre (frontend/manta_control.py) wraps these options.
Status: the real ZUI draws the OSD (NO SIGNAL, MENU, SOURCE, INFO, factory, hotel, lock, USB player). Hypotheses are opt-in and labelled; strict mode never invents hardware answers.
Firmware and artwork belong to their owners and are provided for interoperability and preservation research.
Sunplus SPHE8600 bring-up 0.1.0 (exploratory)
Sunplus SPHE8600 bring-up runner (exploratory), Windows x64
First public build of sunplus_run: boots the Sunplus eCos firmware (Manta LED4202 / Shivaki STV-24LED14, Cultraview CV9202 boards) on a patched Unicorn.
Reaches: eCos kernel boot, flash driver, a modelled SPI-flash controller, the ~3 MB application load, the application's start-up assistant and DirectFB 1.1.0 initialisation.
Does not yet: draw pixels (OSD scan-out and real IR input are not modelled).
Contents: sunplus_run.exe, libunicorn.dll, MinGW runtime DLLs, configs/ (the labelled hypothesis lists), sunplus-sphe8600-architecture.md.
Every hypothesis used is a labelled line in configs/hyp-*.tsv and is counted in the run report. The firmware images are in the repository under firmware/; unpack the kernel stream with tools/sunplus/unpack.py (see the architecture notes). This is a research snapshot, not a polished emulator.
