Launch at Login. A single toggle in Settings → General that registers TimeSync.app to start automatically every time you log in. Closes the last gap in the auto-start story:

Auto-starts at boot?
chrony daemon ✅ — was already, via LaunchDaemon
gpsd daemon ✅ — was already, via LaunchDaemon
TimeSyncHelper ✅ — on-demand via launchd whenever the app makes its first XPC call
TimeSync.app menu bar UI ✅ now — when you flip the toggle

How it works: uses SMAppService.mainApp (modern macOS API, same family as the helper registration). The first time you turn it on, macOS shows a one-time notification "TimeSync was added to Login Items" — that's the standard prompt for any app that registers itself to launch at login. After that: every login, the menu bar icon appears automatically, no Dock icon (LSUIElement still set).

Caveat: requires TimeSync.app to live in /Applications/. If you launched from Downloads or anywhere transient, SMAppService refuses — move the app first.

Upgrading

Quit TimeSync, drop the new TimeSync.app over the old one in /Applications/, launch. Open Settings → General to find the new toggle. Helper protocol is unchanged in this release, so no need to reinstall the helper.
