Unpacking the archive by hand instead? The binary is unsigned — run
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine openshell-driver-applecontainer after extracting.

Compatibility: OpenShell 0.0.96 – 0.0.116, apple/container 1.2.0 – 1.4.1 (1.3.1+ recommended:
earlier releases carry published Containerization security advisories), Apple silicon macOS 26.
