CtxRelay 1.0.3 adds browser sign-in for Codex accounts and a desktop application manager for Codex and Claude.
New
- Add Codex accounts from the tray. Sign in through your browser without replacing the active authorization. Duplicate accounts are detected, sign-in can be cancelled, and pending sign-in expires after five minutes. Requires a running Codex Desktop or an installed Codex CLI.
- Applications panel. Detect, select, launch, install, update and uninstall Codex and Claude from the main window or tray menu.
- Install without Microsoft Store. Choose portable installation into a folder or direct signed MSIX installation. Portable installations include Start menu shortcuts; Codex retains its bundled CLI.
- Copy as portable. Create a managed portable copy of an existing installation while retaining the original.
- Connect existing applications. Select an existing Codex or Claude folder and use it to open sessions or restart Codex after switching accounts.
- Version and update status. Read the application version from app.asar, show the selected installation and package version, and distinguish available updates, current versions, newer installed versions and unreadable versions. Update is enabled when the selected installation needs it.
- Staged updates and rollback. Downloads are checked against SHA-256, package identity, architecture and publisher signature. Updates wait for running clients to close and for you to apply the staged package. Managed portable installations retain one previous version for rollback; updating a connected standalone folder adopts it as a managed portable installation.
- Preserve client data on uninstall. External account and session stores are retained. MSIX profile data is backed up before package removal, and the backup location is shown in the panel.
- English, Russian and Spanish text for account sign-in and application management, with application panel colors matching the existing themes.
Improvements
- Codex desktop process detection and account switching support both Codex and ChatGPT executable names and target the detected desktop processes.
- Saved account folder names handle collisions, invalid characters and reserved Windows device names.
- Added third-party attribution for the application manager and package mirrors.
- Added a project landing page with screenshots and links from the README since v1.0.2.
