Fixed

  • Chrome Web Store review: the bundled PDF.js is now the upstream modern build, unmodified from pdfjs-dist 5.7.284, instead of the legacy build. The legacy build bundled core-js, whose old Internet Explorer fallback (an ActiveX object or a hidden iframe written with document.write) the store rejected as obfuscated code. A short vendor/pdfjs/compat.mjs adds the few newer JavaScript methods the modern build needs, only when the browser lacks them, so reading and viewing PDFs keeps working on Chrome 128+ and Firefox 140+. Both builds.
  • Submission zips built on a machine with core.autocrlf=true keep their LF line endings, so vendored files in the zip match their upstream bytes.
