dsh-vnc-client 0.1.0

A VNC client tab for the DeepSeek Harness right sidebar. Connects to any
VNC/RFB server — not just the machine the harness runs on — through a
WebSocket-to-TCP bridge running in the Host.

Install

dsh plugin --profile <profile> add dsh-vnc-client

Save servers from Settings → Plugins → dsh-vnc-client.

What it speaks

• RFB 3.3 / 3.7 / 3.8, with VNC Authentication (DES, implemented in-plugin)
• Rectangles: Raw, CopyRect, Hextile, Tight, ZRLE
• Pseudo-encodings: DesktopSize, ExtendedDesktopSize, LastRect, Cursor
• Keyboard, pointer and wheel events; clipboard in both directions

JPEG is deliberately not advertised: a Tight JPEG rectangle cannot be painted
without a separate decoder, and offering it would make the client select an
encoding it cannot draw.

Notes

• The server password travels over the RPC channel, never in the URL, so it
  stays out of access logs. It is stored 0600 in vnc-client/targets.json
  under the Harness home.
• The bridge is authenticated by the same connection check the Gateway uses.
