Compatibility

  • No output changes by default. This release only fixes behaviour that 5.0.0 supported and 5.1.0 broke, plus one bug in a 5.0.0 feature. A compatibility audit against 4.30.0, 5.0.0 and 5.1.0 backs every change.

Fixes

  • parse_statements() applies a one-shot iterable transaction_boundary (a generator, iter() or map()) to every statement instead of only the first (#138).
  • A TransactionDetails subclass with its own pattern keeps its full capture again. 5.1.0 cut it back to the 585-character cap, which broke the workaround every 4.x and 5.0.0 user had for long :86: details.
  • parse() and parse_statements() no longer pass options=None to a Transactions subclass with the 5.0.0 constructor.
  • Pickles written by 4.x restore transaction_boundary and can parse again.

Maintenance

  • The CI concurrency group is keyed on the ref, so a release no longer cancels the develop run and the CI badge no longer reports a cancelled run as failing.
  • Coverage is uploaded to coveralls again, and the README badges track master.

Thanks to @VaibhavRaina for #138.
