Follow symlinks only when "--follow" is specified

This release no longer follows symlinks, except when "--follow"/"-y" is specified on the command line.

Use "crypto/sha3"

This is a maintenance release with the following changes:

• Use "crypto/sha3" for hash calculation.
• Updated dependencies.

Quiet mode

• Now there is a quiet mode where only necessary messages are shown.
• Message numbers were corrected and reorderd.

Internal improvements

• This release features some internal improvements while the user interface is still the same.

Corrected handling of file errors when verifying files

• Errors that occur when checking the existence of a file during verification are now correctly handled. Before this fix all errors where interpreted as "file does not exist".

Corrected message numbers

• The message number for a call with no arguments has been corrected.
• All files with message use a message base number now.

Updated dependencies

This release features updated dependencies.

Executable signatures

Now executables are signed, too. The signature info can be found in the repo file exe-fs_0.82.0-signatures.json.

There has also been a change in the program code, in that the signature verifier no longer returns an error.

New base32 encoding

New base32 encoding.

This is the first public release. I already use it with my projects, but it has not yet been moved to v1. Feel free to contact me if you see something that would make this program more useful.
