@xjoje6 xjoje6 released this 29 Oct 16:12
demo
fc2eb5f

The first version to play: real-time 3D Pokémon battles, against the AI or 1 vs 1 online with a friend.

Download

PokeBrawl-demo.zip (Windows, 64-bit): unzip it and open PokeBrawl.exe. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC", choose More info > Run anyway. Best with a gamepad (Xbox or PlayStation); keyboard and mouse work too. Online, both players need this same package.

Inside: the game (with its music), HOW TO PLAY.txt (English), COMO JUGAR.txt (Spanish), CREDITS.txt and GODOT-LICENSES.txt.

What is in

  • 10 Pokémon: Ash's Pikachu, Snorlax, Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Lucario, Gengar, Garchomp, Greninja and Scizor.
  • 79 moves and 22 abilities from the games: pick each Pokémon's four moves and its ability from what it learns.
  • 3 stadiums: the Night Stadium, the Floating Stadium (pushed off the edge, you're out) and the League Stadium (the field closes in by phases).
  • Battle against the AI (easy, normal, hard), Online 1 vs 1 and Training.
  • Status conditions, confusion and weather; deflecting projectiles with strong physical moves; held beams and streams you aim by hand; souls-style lock-on that can switch between the rival and its decoys.
  • Your trainer and name in the profile; trainers throw their Poké Balls and react to the battle.
  • English and Spanish, following your system language.

All the details are in the README and the CHANGELOG. Found a bug? Press F9 in the game to open the log folder and attach the newest files to an issue.
