Changes:

  • Use compensated summation in EnergyProgram to reduce accumulated roundoff in the turn-to-time mapping, improving longitudinal accuracy with densely sampled energy programs.
  • Fix unary-sign precedence in the native MAD-X loader: -a^2 is interpreted as -(a^2). Preserve signed exponents and MAD-X's left-associative exponentiation convention.
  • Support xt.START and xt.END in TwissTable.get_twiss_init, including sliced and reversed tables.
  • Read attributes from the original collective elements when building line tables and surveys. Support Python attributes and collective elements stored in separate buffers, while preserving the existing MultiSetter path for non-collective elements.
  • Improve the numerical stability of RBend length calculations at small bending angles. Correctly account for rbend_angle_diff at zero angle, with a shortcut that avoids evaluating sinc in that case.
  • Raise a clear TypeError, identifying the element name and type, when serializing a line or environment containing an element without a callable to_dict method.
