📝 Details

When using gh sub-issue list with state filters that exclude all sub-issues, the command now properly displays informative messages instead of returning empty output:

  • "No sub-issues found." for children (default)
  • "No parent issue found." for parent relation
  • "No sibling issues found." for siblings relation

This fix is particularly important for CI/CD environments and scripts where formatPlain() is used.

🧪 Testing

  • Added comprehensive test coverage for empty result scenarios
  • All existing tests continue to pass
