Changes since v0.2.0

  • New and updated catalog entries across coding agents, MCP tooling, observability, evaluation tools, and other categories.
  • Separate GitHub Actions assign human PR authors, request maintainer review when ready, and reconcile file-area and primary-category labels. Manual runs support individual PRs; fork content is read as data without executing PR code.
  • Corrected the label workflow's PR write permission after its first live run exposed an HTTP 403.
  • Aligned package and lockfile version metadata with v0.3.0 and updated release guidance.

Validation

  • 105 unit tests pass, along with type checking, generated-file freshness, workflow linting, and catalog validation.
  • Catalog validation retains eight existing warnings.
  • The stale-date report found no last_checked older than 180 days. This does not establish current accuracy or quality.

Known catalog debt

This is an incremental release, not a fully audited catalog. Entries marked reviewed may still be unsuitable, inaccurate, or outdated.

The full link check on 2026-10-11 examined 908 URLs: 789 OK, 83 confirmed broken, and 36 inconclusive. The check failed because of broken URLs; the maintainer explicitly approved releasing with this debt documented. The detailed report is attached. Link availability alone does not establish whether a tool is suitable or current.

The catalog contains 297 reviewed entries and 88 drafts. The v1.0.0 milestone will audit the published reviewed entries and draft candidates, remove unsuitable or duplicate entries, correct outdated metadata and links, verify official evidence, and polish categories and descriptions. No entries were re-certified or had their verification dates advanced for this release.
