Runner 0.19.1 is a bug-fix release for macOS, Windows and Linux on top of 0.19.0.

New

• Start missions from the launcher. Mission shortcuts, the command palette, crew pages and the + on a project or Recents now open the launcher page: pick a crew, write an optional goal, and start in the selected project and folder. The New mission dialog is gone, and opening the launcher no longer creates an empty tab. A mission's title is the first line of its goal, or the crew and date. (#1097)
• runner mission start needs --title. Scripts and agents that start missions from the CLI now pass a title. (#1097)
• Messages reach Claude Code members mid-turn again. Since 0.19.0, every mission inbox notice waited until its member was Idle. Claude Code queues input typed during a turn, so a working Claude Code member now gets new messages straight away and reads them at its next step. Codex and the other runtimes still wait for Idle, and a draft or recent typing in the terminal still holds delivery. (#1103)
• Settings gear in the sidebar footer. The footer's account avatar is a Settings gear again: one click (or ⌘,) opens Settings, signed in or not. Sign-in and sign-out stay in Settings → Account. Settings → General → Local only is removed, so Account and Remote access are always listed; signing out now returns any window showing another computer to this one. (#1099)

Bug fixes

• Pressing Return in an idle agent no longer blocks its inbox. In 0.19.0, a Return that started no turn in an idle mission member's terminal, such as one on an empty composer, left the member Busy, and no further inbox notices reached it. Runner now returns it to Idle about 10 seconds after a submit that starts no turn. A notice still held behind a stuck Busy after two minutes posts a warning in the mission feed. (#1102)
• Resume keeps the conversation after an early exit. A resume that exits right away no longer clears the chat's conversation unless the runtime confirms the conversation is gone, so the next Resume tries the same one again. This mostly affected Codex. (#1028)

Download and upgrade

• macOS, Apple Silicon: download Runner-0.19.1-arm64.dmg, or update through Sparkle. The app is signed and notarized.
• Windows x64, Windows 10 version 1809 or later: download Runner-Setup-0.19.1.20261101.1518-x64.exe. The installer, app, and CLI sidecars are Authenticode-signed by Open Source Developer Yicheng Wang. You can also update through Settings → Updates → Update, then choose Install and restart. Settings, chats, and missions are retained.
• Linux ARM64/x86_64 (beta): on Debian or Ubuntu, download Runner_0.19.1_linux-<arm64|x64>.deb and install it with sudo apt install ./Runner_0.19.1_linux-arm64.deb (or -x64). On other distributions, extract Runner_0.19.1_linux-<arm64|x64>.tar.gz and run its ./install.sh, which installs under ~/.local. Later updates come through Settings → Updates: tarball installations are replaced atomically, and deb installations ask for system authorization and install through APT. The opt-in user service is disabled on install, and uninstall retains user data. Each Linux package carries a matching minisign signature verified by the in-app updater.

Windows ARM64 and Intel Macs are not supported. Linux packages are built on Ubuntu 22.04 and need glibc 2.35 or later, Linux kernel 5.3 or later, and an EGL/Vulkan-capable graphics stack. Native acceptance on physical Linux hardware, on x86_64 and on distributions other than Ubuntu is still pending. Known issue: in some virtual machines, such as UTM with the Virtio-GPU Venus adapter, the window never appears; start Runner with software rendering instead: VK_LOADER_DRIVERS_DISABLE='*virtio*' LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 runner-app.

问题修复

• 在空闲 agent 中按 Return 不再卡住其收件箱。 在 0.19.0 中，如果在空闲 mission 成员的终端里按下的 Return 没有开始新轮次（例如在空输入框上），该成员会一直显示 Busy，之后的收件箱通知都无法送达。现在，提交后若没有开始新轮次，Runner 会在约 10 秒后将其恢复为 Idle。若通知在两分钟后仍因卡住的 Busy 而无法投递，mission 动态中会显示警告。(#1102)
• 提前退出后 Resume 会保留对话。 Resume 后立即退出时，除非运行时确认对话已不存在，否则不再清除聊天的对话，下次 Resume 会再次尝试同一对话。此问题主要影响 Codex。(#1028)
