Bugfix release: scoped search now works consistently across every knowledge-abstract type and method, plus template validation hardening.

🐛 Fixed

  • Hypergraph scoped search — AutoHypergraph.search accepted source_ids/tags but dropped them, so he search --source/--tag silently returned out-of-scope results on hypergraph KAs. (#90)
  • AutoSet provenance was never wired up — the source ledger stayed empty forever: scoped search returned nothing, he tag and he feed --source change detection crashed with AttributeError, and the ledger was never persisted. AutoSet now records + persists its ledger (sources_items.json) and supports document-level upsert, remove_source, tags, and scoped search.
  • Graph_RAG / Cog_RAG scope forwarding — method-level search overrides did not accept scope kwargs, so he search --source/--tag on those KAs raised a raw TypeError. Both now forward scope.
  • he search scope on non-tracked types — scope flags on AutoList/AutoModel KAs now fail with a clear message instead of a TypeError.

🛡️ Template Validation

  • relation_members role check — binary graph templates with non-standard role keys (e.g. from:/to:) passed validation but raised KeyError at extraction time; the validator now rejects them up front with a clear HE-T003 diagnostic. (#91)
  • Chunk options cross-field check — options.chunk_overlap >= options.chunk_size (degenerate chunking) is now rejected at parse time with an author-friendly message; also validates chunk_size >= 1, chunk_overlap >= 0, max_workers >= 1. (#92)

📄 Docs & Security Hygiene

  • Directory-mode docs now reflect ingest-supported formats. (#93)
  • Loading a local FAISS index requires deserialization — AutoList/AutoModel now warn once per path, and the docs call out trusted-directories-only. (#94; the same warning is coming to OMem-backed types via ontomem)
