Comment editors: Share what can be mentioned in a MentionModel - #2281
Comment editors: The users, versions and tasks to mention are shared by the comment editors of a context with a MentionSource. Comments of an activity stream only get a mention popup while being edited.
Attribute definitions: FileDef widget UX improvements - #2272
The FileDef widget is easier to use:
- You can browse for files instead of only drag & drop. The empty state has a "Browse..." button.
- When the mouse is over a widget with items, two buttons fade in over the bottom corners of the list: add (replace for single item) on the left, and remove on the right. They fade out when the mouse leaves. Nothing extra is shown otherwise and the widget doesn't change size.
- Remove works as before: it removes the selected items and is disabled when nothing is selected.
- The list has extra scroll space at the bottom, so the buttons never cover the last item.
- Items can be moved between files widgets by drag & drop. Before, they were always copied. Hold Ctrl to copy. Only items whose files are all accepted by the target are removed from the source.
- While dragging, the views show what the drop will do: items that would be added appear dimmed in the hovered view, items that would be moved disappear from the source view, and the current item of a single item widget is hidden when it would be replaced. Pressing Ctrl brings the source items back (copy). Everything is restored when the drag leaves, and the value changes only on drop.
- "Merge sequence" is offered whenever the selected items can be merged, so frames can be joined back after "Split sequence".
- Sequences show a frame count, and the item tooltip shows the full path.
- You're told when dropped files are skipped (not allowed extension), or which item was used when several are dropped on a single item widget. The message shows centered between the buttons for a few seconds.
- The widget is highlighted while files are dragged over it: blue when they can be dropped, red when none of them are allowed. Before, files that weren't allowed gave no feedback on the widget.
- Icons use Material Symbols.
