v2.2.1 — release sources aligned

CF Press Sync 2.2.1

A small release that fixes where the plugin looks for things.

Fixed

  • The default GitHub repo did not exist. DEFAULT_GITHUB_REPO pointed at cfse/cf-cms, so the first download source always answered 404 and the endpoint fell through to the direct links. It now points at yuebinliu/cfpress.
  • Download paths unified. The direct source asked for /downloads/cf-cms-latest.tar.gz; CMS releases now live at /releases/cms/latest.tar.gz. The Worker answers 301 on the old path, so installs running 2.2.0 keep working.

Distribution

No behaviour change to syncing. If 2.2.0 works for you, updating is optional.

Requires WordPress 5.5+, PHP 7.0+ with cURL.

v2.2.0 — CF Press Sync

@yuebinliu yuebinliu released this 02 Nov 15:31

CF Press Sync 2.2.0

Renamed from CFSE Sync for WordPress. The old name described the original job (static export), which the plugin no longer does — it now syncs content, deploys the Worker and carries comments back.

Changed

  • Plugin name, admin menu (「CF Press 同步」) and Text Domain are now CF Press Sync / cf-press-sync
  • Plugin URI points at the real repository (was github.com/yourname/…), Author is CF Press

Fixed

  • Attachments were never synced: only <img src> was scanned, so a zip, PDF or audio file linked with <a href> never reached R2 — the post loaded and the download returned 404. Every src / href under wp-content/uploads/ is now copied, and the URL is rewritten.
  • Single-post sync lost categories, tags and the featured image when a post arrived through the REST API, because save_post fires before terms and thumbnails are written. Sync now defers to shutdown.
  • Posts pushed from the WordPress side kept the WordPress origin in image URLs (http://intranet/wp-content/…), so readers saw broken images. URLs are rewritten to the CMS domain.

Notes

  • Internal class and constant prefixes (CFSE_Sync_*, CFSE_VERSION) and option names (cf_*) are unchanged — renaming them buys nothing visible and would need an option migration.
  • Requires WordPress 5.5+, PHP 7.0+ with cURL.

Install: upload cf-press-sync-2.2.0.zip under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
