Where do I report problems?

OpenSpades uses the integrated Issues page provided by GitHub.

If you're having any problems, you should report them there.

This way, the community and the maintainers have information about all current and previous OpenSpades problems in a centralized way, whilst keeping them organized and easy to integrate with the GitHub development model.

Before reporting the problems

Please navigate the Issue tracker and do a quick search to be sure no one has reported you problem before.

Also, please be sure your problem isn't solvable by one of the Common Issues page articles.

How do I report problems?

Open a new issue in our Issues page and specify as much information relevant to the issue as you can. This way, we don't lose time by asking them and waiting between responses, and therefore, increasing the chances of solving it quicker.

Common relevant information include:

  • Your SystemMessages.log file, present in the User Resource Directory
  • Your operating system (e.g.: Windows 10, Mac OS X 10.9, GNU/Linux Ubuntu 16.04)
  • Your OpenSpades version
  • In case its a renderer related issue, your graphics card.
  • And if your OpenSpades crashed, the Crash Dump of it.

Suggestions on how to solve the problem or why you think the problem is happening might be very helpful.
