  • Add logic for validation to account for columns with the 'confirmed' rule.
  • Change functions to be non-static so that rule classes will carry the model instance along in the $this variable.
  • In the ModelController, load $this into $self for the DB transaction closure so that saveRelations() and saveAttachments() can be overridden by child classes.
