v2.3.0 — English audio guide
Every place in Swat Valley and Lower Swat now has a spoken English story: 52 clips, about 15 minutes, playable from the place panel, with read-along text, and included in 'Save for offline'.
- Stories are written only from each place's sourced facts, timeline and access notes, with no filler, and are length-limited to what the sources support.
- Voice: Chatterbox by Resemble AI (MIT), generated on-device, one sentence at a time. Every sentence is transcribed back with Whisper and regenerated if words are skipped. Numbers are spoken as words and must be heard back exactly (elevations, years, distances).
- Known: a few local names are pronounced approximately (Laddu, Utror, Kundol).
