Release list
ZORU Miner 1.5.6
ZORU Miner 1.5.6
Mining resumes with the current beacon after slow network responses. Beacon requests no longer accumulate while other transactions are being processed.
Existing wallet files, transaction journals and reward history are preserved. The release uses the current ZORU mainnet contracts on chain 6736.
The beacon recovery check used real isolated VEX transactions: a 75-second outage with delayed responses, followed by 15 accepted proofs, seven automatic claims and three mining epochs. Linux application checks passed.
Available for Linux x86_64 as a Debian package and a portable archive.
ZORU Miner 1.5.5
ZORU Miner 1.5.5
The miner supports the current ZORU mainnet contracts and preserves existing wallet files, transaction journals and proof history when updated.
- Faster hashing reuses the constant part of each mining challenge.
- Transaction recovery checks the canonical transaction that consumed a nonce, including transactions outside the recent block window.
- Lost submission responses retain the signed transaction hash for reconciliation before another submission.
- Trusted RPC fallbacks verify the chain before use.
- Mining and automatic settlement respect both contract maintenance pauses.
- Reward history avoids repeated queries for finalized proofs while retaining recent reorganization checks.
The Linux release includes the reviewed mainnet manifest. Existing users should replace the application and manifest together and keep their wallet and state directories.
Linux validation includes the Rust test suite, signed recovery and claim fixtures, four desktop test groups, package checks, isolated native mining and automatic claiming. The native integration also covers two miners, restart, an RPC outage, delayed responses and loss of an accepted submission response. Continuous native mining ran for 30 minutes with 106 accepted proofs and no recorded errors.
This release is published for Linux x86_64. A Windows package requires separate runtime validation before publication.
ZORU Miner 1.5.4
ZORU Miner 1.5.4
Reliability
- Stop mining work at the 15-second relay-inclusion safety cutoff before an epoch ends. The same cutoff predicate is used when validating a proof submission, avoiding unnecessary hashing and queued candidates that cannot be included in time.
- Stale candidates are discarded locally and counted in staleBeforeBroadcast, not treated as on-chain rejected proofs. Queued results from an old epoch are dropped before the transaction writer; last-moment epoch races are also counted as local discards instead of RPC warnings.
Platform validation
- Linux x86_64 package and automated Rust test suite are validated.
- Windows x64 binaries and installer are cross-built, but native Windows UI/runtime testing has not been completed. The Wine smoke test was inconclusive because Wine prefix initialization timed out. Windows UI, mining controls, updater installation, and wallet flows remain unverified.
- The Windows installer is not Authenticode-signed.
See UPDATES.md and TESTING.md for validation details.
In-app update feed
The verification key is restored to the established public key used by v1.5.3 and matches the protected release signing key stored outside the repository. The v1.5.4 feed is signed and published. Builds of v1.5.4 distributed before this correction contain a mismatched trust anchor and require manual replacement; v1.5.3 builds can verify the signed 1.5.4 update.
ZORU Miner v0.1.0
ZORU Miner v0.1.0
Rust CLI and Qt desktop for ZORU mining on Vexanium EVM (chain ID 6736).
Downloads
Choose the files marked -vexascan for the current mainnet connection defaults. The earlier archives are retained unchanged for users who have already downloaded them.
| Platform | Recommended file |

The GUI uses https://vexascan.com/rpc for EVM requests and https://vexascan.com:8443 for the native API. Other VEX EVM RPC providers can be found at Chainlist; connection fields remain editable.
Verify files against SHA256SUMS.txt before installation. The packages include the contract deployment manifest but no keystore, wallet password or signing journal.
Requirements
Linux x86_64 needs glibc 2.34+, Qt 6.2+ and VEX for transaction fees. On Debian/Ubuntu, use sudo apt install ./zoru-miner-v0.1.0-linux-amd64-vexascan.deb.
Windows x64 requires Windows 10 or later. The installer was cross-compiled with MinGW-w64 and Qt 6.2.4. The executable format, bundled dependencies, manifest and checksums were checked, but installation on native Windows has not been verified. The Windows installer is not Authenticode-signed and may prompt SmartScreen.
The on-chain mining launch time is 29 October 2026 at 15:13:01 UTC. Mining consumes VEX gas and does not guarantee rewards or profitability.
