This game is a racing arcade where the player must complete five levels, dodging obstacles and reaching the finish line. Additionally, this repo will assist those who are learning Unity in understanding the code.
- Download and install Unity if you don't have it on your computer.
- Download the game files from the GitHub repository.
- Open the project in Unity.
- Ready to play!
- Click the "Play" button in the menu to start the game.
- Choose the difficulty level and try to complete it perfectly. Your progress will be saved and visible in the menu.
- Use the
W
andS
keys to control the car forward and backward, respectively. - Use the
A
andD
keys to steer the car left and right, respectively. - Avoid obstacles along the way and reach the finish line of each level.
- Complete all five levels to win the game! To access the next level, you must complete the previous one with at least one star.
- A pleasant bonus awaits you at the end.
The following objects can be found in the game:
- Booster - speeds up the car.
- Antibooster - slows down the car.
- Star - level end marker.
- Bumpers - objects to avoid colliding with.
- Coin - collect coins during the game; your result depends on them.
- Track - stay within the track boundaries; otherwise, the level restarts.
Levels are included in the game menu. To play the next level, you need to complete the previous one with at least one star. Progress is saved and displayed in the menu.
The game "World of Speed" also features a shop where players can use coins earned in levels to purchase various skins and additional elements. The shop offers unique car color variations, different decals, airbrush designs, as well as modifications to the appearance and functionality of the cars.
The game includes a "Reset" button that resets the game progress, allowing you to start over.
The game also contains an "Exit" button that allows you to exit the game.
