macOS 26 removed Launchpad. This is a native rebuild of it.

Features

• Full-screen app grid with pages; change pages by swiping, with the mouse wheel or by dragging on empty space
• Open it with a hot corner (bottom-left by default; any corners, optional modifier key and dwell time), a four-finger pinch (spread to close), a global shortcut, or the Dock / menu bar icon
• Search by localized or English name, and for Chinese names by full pinyin or initials (wx finds 微信)
• Drag to rearrange, drop onto another app to make a folder, drag out of folders, click to rename
• Imports the layout left by the system Launchpad (folders included) on first launch
• Blurred desktop-picture background; supports VoiceOver, Reduce Motion, Increase Contrast and Reduce Transparency

Install

1. Download Launchpad-1.0.0.dmg, open it and drag Launchpad into Applications (or use the zip)
2. The build is not notarized, so the first launch is blocked: go to System Settings › Privacy & Security, find Launchpad near the bottom and click Open Anyway
3. Requires macOS 14 or later; universal binary for Apple silicon and Intel

Tips

• System Settings › Desktop & Dock › Hot Corners: if the same corner has another action (especially the old Launchpad one), set it to "-"
• System Settings › Trackpad › More Gestures: turn off the system pinch (Apps) and spread (Show Desktop) so they don't fire together with Launchpad's gesture
• To start at login: Launchpad Settings › General › Launch at login

Known limitations

• The four-finger pinch relies on an undocumented system framework and may break after a major macOS update (Settings shows it as unavailable; nothing else is affected)
• macOS 26 shows the icon on a gray plate at small sizes such as Finder lists
• The Intel build has not been tested on Intel hardware
• The interface is currently in Chinese

功能

• 打开方式:触发角(默认左下角,可多选、可设修饰键和停留时间)、四指捏合打开/张开收起、全局快捷键、程序坞或菜单栏图标
• 搜索:中文名、英文名、全拼、首字母都能搜(「微信」输入 wx 即可),多音字也认
• 拖动排序,拖到另一个图标上建文件夹,拖出文件夹,点名字改名
• 首次运行自动导入旧启动台的排列(含文件夹)
• 背景是模糊的桌面壁纸;支持 VoiceOver、减弱动态效果、增强对比度、降低透明度

安装

1. 下载 Launchpad-1.0.0.dmg,打开后把「启动台」拖进「应用程序」(也可以下载 zip 解压)
2. 未经苹果公证,第一次打开会被拦下:到 系统设置 › 隐私与安全性,在页面下方找到「启动台」,点「仍要打开」
3. 需要 macOS 14 及以上,Apple 芯片与 Intel 通用

使用提示

• 系统设置 › 桌面与程序坞 › 触发角:同一个角如果还设了别的动作(尤其是旧的「启动台」),改成「-」
• 系统设置 › 触控板 › 更多手势:关掉系统自带的四指合拢(App)与张开(显示桌面),免得和本 App 同时触发
• 想开机就能用:在启动台的设置 › 通用 里打开「登录时自动启动」

已知限制

• 四指捏合依赖未公开的系统框架,系统大版本更新后可能失效(失效时设置里会显示不可用,其他功能不受影响)
• 在访达列表等小尺寸处,macOS 26 会给本 App 的图标加一块灰底
• Intel 版本未在 Intel 实机上测试
