Morden

Morden is the first Ethereum alternative testnet. It is expected to continue throughout the Frontier and Homestead era.
This is supported natively on 0.9.93 and above. Pass the --morden
argument in when starting any of the clients. e.g.:
> eth --morden
Or, for AlethZero
> alethzero --morden
For earlier versions, eth
can still be made to work by starting with arguments --network-id 2 --genesis-json morden.json
, making sure to make a file morden.json
containing the Genesis JSON contents given below.
- Network Identity: 2
- All parameters except genesis are same as Frontier
- Genesis block hash:
