2015 01_Meeting_(FOSDEM)
Should we start the 4.4 release schedule before starting to merge GSoC 2015 code (assuming we are chosen for GSoC 2015) ? We already have 23 small feature requests merged in master.
Yes, the plan is to continue merging features until end of February, then feature freeze 4.4 to aim for a final release somewhere in May.
We should refine ideas from our GSoC 2015 page and prioritize them.
We added some comments to this page. All of the ideas still seem interesting.
On https://www.phpmyadmin.net/team/ we have listed some roles for developer. Do members present at this meeting want to be more specific about their role?
The only needed clarification concerned Chirayu. We also talked about a future direction: moving to MVC. This seemed important for the majority of the present members, but there is no clear plan about how to move the codebase there. What is clear is that it should be done in a separate branch.
Which features to accept, which to reject, and assigning some order of what is most important.
We did not have time for this but suggested to discuss a few feature requests at each IRC meeting.
