Since 0.1.2
A small release with the new app icon.
- Improved: Since has a new app icon: the shift mark.
- Fixed: In a narrow window, the pull request pane in Review no longer cuts off Merge and the other actions.
Installs on 0.1.0, 0.1.1 and the release-candidate builds update to it on their own; when the download finishes, restart from the update notice to switch over.

Since is free and open source.
Since leaves beta as a free, open-source app. Every feature works without a key, trial or account, and the code is on GitHub under GPL-3.0-or-later. This release also opens repositories as tabs in one window, adds a Commits tab to Review, groups the commit menu into submenus and trims the shortcuts to the ones you use often.
Highlights
- Free and open source. Every feature works with no key, trial or account. The source is on GitHub under GPL-3.0-or-later.
- Repositories in tabs. Open several repositories as tabs in one window. ⇧⌘T reopens a closed tab, and launch reopens the last window's tabs.
- Commits in Review. Review has a Commits tab. Click a commit to see its details and co-authors on the right; Open shows just that commit's changes.
Added
- Repository tabs: ⌘T, ⌘W, ⌘1–⌘9, ⌃Tab and ⇧⌘T to reopen; views move to ⌥⌘1–⌥⌘8 and Open in Terminal to ⌥⇧⌘T
- Launch reopens the last repositories in the same window size and position
- Commits tab and commit pane in Review, with co-author avatars on each commit
- ⌘B creates a branch from anywhere: at the selected commit in the Map, at HEAD elsewhere
- Click a pull request author's name in Review to open their GitHub profile
Improved
- GitLanes is now Since, and Catch up is now Since with Mark since; settings, recent repositories and undo history carry over
- No trial, licence key or lock: the licence window, chip and menu items are gone
- The commit menu is grouped into submenus (Create, Branch, Into, Rewrite, Copy, Open in Browser) that open beside it
- Clicking a worktree selects it; double-click or ↵ switches to it
- Toasts group into one stack that fans out on hover
- Fewer shortcuts: rarely used ones live in ⌘K and the menus, ⌘R reloads Review and Since, and the footer key legends are gone
- Review shows the last list at once and loads the fresh one with far fewer git processes
- Checking out a commit deep in history keeps the rows above it in place
- Updates come from GitHub Releases
Fixed
- A pull request GitHub is still checking no longer shows as Stuck, and Review moves it within seconds
- The conflict editor keeps CRLF line endings, leaves non-UTF-8 files alone and no longer deletes a file with no conflict left
- Closing a repository removes it from recent repositories; ⌘K › Remove from recent… removes any other
- Clicking the button of an open menu closes it, and ⌘K closes the command menu
- The stacked pull request header stays on one line and the stack rail no longer crosses a draft's dot
