What's new in 1.8.13

• No more .mp4.mp4.mp4 files. With "Record Microphone to Main Track" on and both microphone and system audio recorded, quitting TinyRecorder right after stopping (or while recording) could exit before the audio tracks were mixed, leaving the recording as Recording at ….mp4.mp4.mp4. Quitting now waits for the mix to finish, and any such leftover file in your save folder is renamed to its real name the next time TinyRecorder starts.

What's new in 1.8.12

• Settings → General fits on one screen. Check for Updates… now sits in the Update group next to the version number, the permission repair is a single row (details in the ⓘ), and the window is a little taller, so nothing needs scrolling.
• AppleScript fixes:
  • A record command sent during the countdown is refused instead of starting a second recording.
  • stop recording / discard recording during the countdown now cancel the recording. Before, they reported "Not recording." and the recording started anyway.
  • record window titled … no longer silently does nothing when the screen under the pointer can't be determined.
• Automation docs: every AppleScript command and configure option is now documented in the README and on the new Automation page.
• Anonymous usage statistics (added in 1.8.11) now report the microphone setting that a recording actually used.
