v0.21 focuses on quality-of-life improvements, performance, and playback experience improvements across the app.
This release also introduces one of the most requested features for macOS users: an experimental embedded MPV player built directly into the app — no additional installation required.

🍎 macOS Embedded MPV Player (Experimental)

[macOS only]

IPTVnator now includes an experimental embedded MPV player directly inside the app.

No additional software required — just install and use IPTVnator.

This is an early experimental version and feedback is very welcome.

my Windows install shows v0.21.0 but still says "Global Favorites" in the side bar and dashboard sections. My only reason for caring is it seemed weird that this change didn't copy to the windows installer?

For the translation issue, I think I forgot to update all of the relevant strings in the i18n files. The remaining ones are:

• WORKSPACE.DASHBOARD.GLOBAL_FAVORITES: apps/web/src/assets/i18n/en.json (line 754)
• WORKSPACE.GLOBAL_FAVORITES.TITLE: apps/web/src/assets/i18n/en.json (line 948)

Regarding the toggleable EPG panel: it should only be visible when the built-in player is selected, as shown in the screenshot:

None of the updates were good; the videos don't play and you have to change the player
