My third tutorial.

Here's another META file.

The Vehicles.meta.


Vehicles.meta defines vehicles and their properties. This file is located in xxxx.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5

Examples:

  • Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5
  • Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\mpstunt\dlc.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5

Like the Handling.meta, this tutorial will be useful for new modders.

1. Parameters

1.1 modelName

  • Name of the model.

Example: blista

1.2 txdName

  • Name of the vehicle's texture dictionary.

Example: blista

1.3. handlingId

  • The name used in handling.meta. Default names are written in uppercase.

1.4. gameName

  • The vehicle's name corresponding to its GXT2 entry.
  • Displayed when entering the vehicle.

1.5. vehicleMakeName

  • The vehicle maker's/manufacturer's name corresponding to its GXT2 entry.
  • Default names are written in uppercase.

  • Sound of the vehicle.

1.13. layout

Layout decribes how big the vehicle's collisions are , and how does a play enter it. And the sitting positions of the seats. And the number of doors. And how the doors act. @FoxtrotDelta Thanks.

Parameters used: Many of these are really obvious.
