Visual TOM Git commands execution integration

 

This repository contains the custom model for Git commands execution in Visual TOM and its associated batch queue.

Prerequisites

• Visual TOM 7.1.2 or greater
• Bash if Linux/Unix Agent
• Git installed on the Agent

Instructions

Installation

1. Import xml export file into Visual TOM server:

vtimport -x -f GitJobModel.xml

2. Check on the VTOM interface if the "Git" Custom model is present

3. Install tom_submit.gitexec or submit_queue_gitexec.bat batch queue on the Agent as usual (See VTOM administrator guide)

Usage

• Create a new VTOM Job based on the Git custom model with the following properties :
  • Batch queue: queue_gitexec
  • Parameters:
    • Git directory: Path of the Git directory to perform the action
    • Action: Choose between the following actions:
      • add, branch, checkout, commit, fetch, pull, push, remote, status, switch, tag
    • Options: Git command options
