More pokemon = More efficiency?

I have 3 pokemons currently working the same task, my question is, does having more pokemon on the same space make it "farm" more efficient? if i use the max limit the pasture block allows will it be more productive than if i were to use only 2 or 3, say for example that the task is archeology.
