Allsky not restarting after parameters change at night

Hi,
It seems that the commands are inverted... It first restarts Allsky then stops it.

A "restart" causes a "stop" then a "start".

In the log file there are two cases where I believe you had to manually start Allsky since the time between the "stop" and "start" was a couple minutes:

In both case, there was Another saveImage is in progress so the new one was aborted prior to Allsky restarting.

Did you cause Allsky to restart, or did it restart on its own?
If you caused it, how did you do it?

There was one case where Allsky successfully restarted:

Thank you for investigating Eric, I suspect the star count module also. I have disabled it last night and haven’t had issues with image saving after that.
Here is the screenshots of the stars counting and clear sky modules.

That is weird, the number of stars is still updated on the overlay. I disabled and removed the counting stars module from the right list though.

If you are still using Debug Level 4, would you please attach /var/log/allsky.log and /var/log/allsky.log.1 ?
Otherwise, set Debug Level to 4 then after an image with the start count, attach /var/log/allsky.log.

One of the files should answer why you are still seeing the number of stars even though you disabled the module.

Would you also please enable the Star Count module, wait a couple images, then disable it and attach /var/log/allsky.log. That'll tell us how long it takes to run and what it's doing.

Sorry for the delay Eric, I was out of town.
Here are the files you asked.
I forgot to enable then disable the counting module.
It starts with clear sky and counting modules disabled (no star count showed on the image), then I enabled clear sky module and left counting module disabled and stars count showed up on the image.

The allsky.log didn't have any problems in it. Was the "Star Count" module running when you grabbed the log file? If not, would you please enable that module since we think it may be causing Allsky not to restart.

FYI, I noticed this in your logs:

   *** upload.sh: ERROR, unable to log in to pi @ allskyweb.local.

Hi, nthis error happens from time to time, I don't know why but I think it is more an issue why my internet routeur...

I proceeded as you asked, enabled the Star Count module, waited a couple images, then disabled it.
