Solution: The addon won't start after updating to the v0.4.0.

Issue: Your version of Anki does not support QT6 which that update is trying to reference. You need to update to the latest version of Advanced Copy Fields v0.4.1 OR to a compatible QT6 version of Anki.

As PyQT5 or PyQT6 is bundled with Anki, updating the version of QT on your system will not affect Anki runtime instances.

To know what version of Anki you are using and whether it is using QT6 or QT5, invoke the About Anki dialog.

Solution 1:

Please remove that update of Advanced Copy Fields, and download the newest version, v0.4.1 which supports both QT5 or QT6

Solution 2:

If you would like to use QT6 Anki, you'll need to Update or Install a compatible QT6 version of Anki (If you want to use QT6 vs of QT5)
