What Discussions is for:

• General questions about usage or configuration
• Community conversations and showcases
• Plugin development Q&A
• Open-ended ideas that are not yet concrete enough to be a feature request

What Discussions is NOT for:

• Bug reports → Issues
• Feature requests → Issues
• Crash reports → Issues

Why?

Issue templates exist to collect structured, actionable information (OS, version, steps to reproduce, expected behavior). Without this, the maintainer has to waste time asking follow-up questions that the template would have answered upfront.

Discussions has no triage pipeline, no labels, no milestone tracking. Posting a bug or feature request here means it will never be tracked, prioritized, or scheduled.

Enforcement

Any bug report or feature request posted in Discussions will be closed immediately without response. No exceptions. No warnings. Use the Issue tracker.

If the issue templates feel like too much work, consider that debugging your one-sentence report costs the maintainer 10x more effort than it costs you to fill out the form.
